Background
From the President: Larry E. Couchot...
Couchot, Hogenkamp & Seving, Inc. was founded in 1990.
We have quickly become the premier accounting firm in Southwestern Ohio and
one of the leading firms in the state.
In 1996 we moved into our current offices to accommodate our continued growth.
I have built the business on a few basic fundamentals. First we have to get
to know and understand the personal goals and dreams of the client. Second,
remember that the business, a career or job is merely the conduit to reach
those goals and dreams. Third, help the client achieve their goals and dreams.
We have been very blessed to attract incredibly talented individuals who
have embraced those fundamentals. We have grown into a truly full service
organization that fulfills not only the compliance areas of financial reporting
and income tax preparation but many related areas of personal financial planning,
investment advisory network sales, computer consulting, insurance and succession
planning.
At Couchot, Hogenkamp & Seving, we meet all continuing education requirements
established by the accounting profession and we have ongoing compliance reviews
under the guidance of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants in
order to maintain high standards.

Our Team
A 1976 Graduate of Bowling Green State University I received a bachelors
degree with majors in Accounting and Management. The first two years after
graduation I spent in a management training program with a major corporation
after which I accepted a position with a local CPA firm in Sidney, OH. In
August 1984 I relocated to South Dayton with another local CPA firm until
1990 when I made the decision to carve my own path in life. I'm not through
carving but the decision was the single best decision I've made in business.

Tax Manager

A 1989 cum laude graduate of Wright State University, I received a Bachelor of Science degree with dual majors in Accounting and Finance. Since then I have worked at local CPA firms in the Dayton area which has given me the opportunity to cultivate a diverse range of expertise in all areas of accounting, auditing and taxation. I have twelve years of experience with both individual and business tax preparation and eight years of extensive experience with audits of nonprofits and multi-employer benefit plans. In addition, I am a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor specializing in accounting system setup and support. I’m pleased to have recently joined a group of competent, caring professionals where client satisfaction is our primary focus. For all of your personal or business needs please give me a call. Accounting Manager
Shortly after serving four years in the United States Air Force, I graduated
Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in
Accounting. I began my professional career with Arthur Andersen in Phoenix,
AZ performing financial statement and financial aid compliance audits. A
job flying F16s for the Ohio National Guard brought my husband and the rest
of us to Ohio for a permanent residence in 1999. I continued my career with
a regional firm in downtown Dayton focusing primarily on Nonprofit and ERISA
audits prior to joining the team at Couchot Hogenkamp & Seving in 2005. As
the Accounting Manager at Couchot Hogenkamp & Seving, I oversee certain audits,
bookkeeping, and payroll tax preparation clients. I also provide expertise
in tax preparation, services as an interim controller, and general business
consulting. It is a pleasure to work with the dedicated professionals at
Couchot Hogenkamp & Seving. They are one team with a common goal and that
goal is client satisfaction. It would be my pleasure to work with you too.

As a 2002 graduate of the College of Mount St. Joseph, I received a dual
Baccalaureate degree with majors in Accounting and Paralegal Studies. I bring
to our team 5 years of experience specializing in audits of small business,
non-profit organizations and employee benefit plans, in addition to experience
in the areas of client bookkeeping and income tax preparation. I look forward

A graduate of Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, with a Bachelors
Degree in Accounting, I bring more than 10 years of corporate and government
Accounting and Financial Planning experience to the firm, including bookkeeping,
